Preventing Panic Situations
I've taken an excerpt from T. Orlick's: Pursuit of Excellence to help prepare readers from falling into panic situations. The strategies are listed below, hope this helps...
- Embrace a challenge that you feel is worthy of you and your focus.
- Plan a course that you feel can take you to your goals.
- Run your course or game plan through your mind so you are clear about what you want to do.
- Look the obstacles over; become familiar with them.
- Plan a strategy to overcome them and a backup strategy, in case a problem arises.
- Get onto your course, and remain alert and ready, mind wide open and body flowing.
- Perceive the obstacles, but don't let your mind remain with them or you will be unprepared for the next step, challenge, or opportunity.
- Continue to move forward, taking advantage of your strengths, opportunities, obstacles, and the flow of things around you.
Did you find the information helpful? Would you add anything?
